The Hotel Performance Confidence Indicator aims to reflect confidence in the performance of the South African hotel industry on a quarterly basis. Hotel managers throughout South Africa forecast their hotel’s performance in terms of likely market demand for the next quarter in comparison to the same period in the previous year. More than 200 hotel managers contribute their views to the indicator on a quarterly basis.
