External Skills Development Facilitator Support

You decide to what extent you require external SDF assistance. Our external SDF support services could include:

• Identification of training needs and sourcing of suitable training initiatives;
• Formulation and implementation of an agreed skills development plan;
• Preparation and submission of the annual Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR);
• Monitoring of SETA mandatory grant payments and, where applicable, discretionary grant payments; and/or
• Where applicable, establish and engage with the training committee.

At least 50 percent of reported training must be accredited. According to CATHSESETA, this percentage will gradually increase to at least 75 percent by 2013.
