Horwath HTL South Africa is an independent member firm of Crowe Horwath International's Hotel, Tourism and Leisure Group, the recognised first choice for the world’s leading hotel, tourism and leisure investors, lenders and operators.

Established in August 2000, Horwath HTL South Africa is the member firm responsible for all hotel, tourism, and leisure consulting in South Africa and the rest of the African continent. Horwath HTL South Africa has been instrumental in the conceptualisation, assessment and sourcing of suitable investment for a number of key hotel and other tourism developments.

In 2007 Horwath HTL South Africa established a new business unit in order to address the critical need for skills development and up-liftment in the South African Hospitality Industry. To this end, Horwath HTL South Africa has been awarded full accreditation by the Culture Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA) (613/P/000087/2007) and is registered with Umalusi.
